Fish Curry – South Indian Style


Cooking Oil 4 Tablespoon
Mustard 1 Tablespoon
Fenugreek Seeds 1 Tablespoon
Method of Cooking
  • Heat the oil in a wide heavy bottomed pan and add Mustard, Cumin, Fenugreek, Curry leaves, Crushed garlic when they stop spluttering, and the onion and fry till light brown.
  • Add the tomato when they cooked add Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, tamarind pulp to this masala and stir to mix well
For Grinding
  • Coconut, 1/2 onion, 1 tomato into a smooth paste
The gravy to boil for 5 minutes, add the required amount of water, salt and grinding spices.  Put the fish and boil for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes and put on medium fire.  Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a small pan add dried Chilli, Pepper powder, Cumin powder, along with gravy on it. Garnish with chopped Coriander.
When the gravy is hot will add a little ghee
The next day, while eating delicious yet
